1. Open Control Panel --> Administrative
Tools --> Computer Management
2. Under Local Users and Groups --> Under Users --> Create a New User and provide following details
3. Open Local Security Policy and set the following options
4. Go to Folder Options and disable the following option

5. Open Cognos Configuration --> create a new Namespace under
Authentication as shown
Note: setting Authentication using NTLM is no longer supported from
Cognos 10 version.
