Set function with Multi-Dimensional model in Cognos Report Studio

Set function is used to extract specific members from the hierarchy.

Steps:

1. Open Report Studio --> Select GO Sales (analysis) --> select Crosstab template and create a report by inserting Year in columns and Revenue in measures as shown below

 

 

 

2. Create a Query Calculation on Rows and add the following expression

3. Run the report to see the output generated only for '3' Product Lines.

Note: while using Set function, members must be selected from the same hierarchy
