Scenarios in which Tables are treated as Dimensions or Facts in Cognos Framework Manager

Case 1: if all the below '4' tables are included in the report query, SALES_STAFF and ORDER_DETAILS are treated as facts and remaining are treated as dimensions.

Case 2: if the first '3' tables are included in the query, SALES_STAFF and ORDER_HEADER are now treated as facts.

 

Case 3: In the below example, the tables that are circled in BLUE are treated as facts.
